TF Gallery is pleased to present Find Your Star, an exhibition of new paintings by Gregory Siff.
Cities are constellations made of people. In Find Your Star, Siff explores the city as a living constellation—where architecture, memory, and identity become symbols, guiding viewers toward their own place in the sky of life.
Through expressive mark-making in acrylic, oil-crayon, and ink on canvas, Siff builds a mythology of identity using archetypes drawn from American culture and the iconography of Dallas. Faces, buildings, events, names, and symbols orbit one another like stars across the skyline.

An interactive installation invites viewers to engage with a wall of faces and icons, allowing each person to compose their own star formation of meaning—reflecting who they are, whom they remember, and whom they aspire to become.

In Find Your Star, Gregory Siff maps the city as a field of symbols and possibilities, inviting each viewer to discover their own light within the skyline. Among the new works in this collection are his large-scale ‘Timeline Starry Night Heaven’ paintings, which bring an ethereal dream world to life.

ARTIST BIO:

​

American artist Gregory Siff is best known for his highly emotive style that merges abstraction, pop, and action painting. By using inks, oils, and acrylics, he creates iconic elements in the form of storyboards, capturing time and nostalgia.

His works have been included in MoMA PS1’s “Rockaway!”, Vans selected him to inspire students across the United States with his hand-painted “Vans Custom Culture” sneakers on display at the Whitney Museum of American Art and in luxury fashion house Saint Laurent’s F/W 2017/2018 Collection.

Gregory also collaborated with revolutionary fashion brand, Pyer Moss, painting pieces live on the runway that are now archived by The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
